Tasting Notes

New in to our cellar door is our 2019 Sangiovese, made from grapes grown on our property. Aged in old oak barrels this wine is typical of the rustic-styled Sangiovese. It has the earthiness of berries, dark chocolate and plums. Infused with just a nice touch of Cabernet producing a wine that reflects the Hunter Valley terroir. Chill in the fridge in Summer for a further depth of flavour.   

Pear & Vanilla Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar

The perfect dressing for a crispy duck and char-grilled asparagus salad. Use as a marinade for pork or chicken. For something different drizzle over fresh berries and shaved chocolate.
