Tasting Notes

New in to our cellar door is our 2019 Sangiovese, made from grapes grown on our property. Aged in old oak barrels this wine is typical of the rustic-styled Sangiovese. It has the earthiness of berries, dark chocolate and plums. Infused with just a nice touch of Cabernet producing a wine that reflects the Hunter Valley terroir. Chill in the fridge in Summer for a further depth of flavour.   

Kaffir Lime & Chilli Caramelised White Balsamic Vinegar

This tangy dressing is a fushion of sweet and bitter ingredients with a bite. Ideal for summer salads, as a dipping sauce or to marinade prawn and squid skewers. For something different, drizzle over fresh cut strawberries and pineapple.

Fig & Honey Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar

Use as an accompaniment to a baked Goat's Cheese Tart or drizzle over a gourmet Prosciutto and Bocconcini pizza. This fruity balsamic glaze works perfectly with soft cheeses and cured meats.
